How to boost your business profile online

Standing out from the crowd online can feel difficult when you’re a small business. Large businesses invest thousands into online marketing campaigns such as google adverts, social media adverts and will likely have a full-time dedicated marketing team doing this.

However, you can make your business stand out by applying some simple rules.

1)    Provide as much information about your business as possible on your website. Your website doesn’t need to be an essay but think about what you would want from someone looking for your service. Pick out KEY WORDS. Reliable, Effective, Professional, Experience. This is a place to boast so don’t be modest.

2)    Have good photos on your website. It makes you look so professional. Think about any trade you have employed. First impressions count. And people are far more critical online.

3)    Get customers to provide feedback on google feedback where possible. If you have a good customer that has been pleased with your work, ask them to leave feedback on google. This will really help you stand out. Google will bring you higher to the top of their search and you will have some good feedback for other clients.

4)    Post regularly. Try and spend time every week using social media to post about your business. The more you post the more customers you will see.

5)    Share Videos. YouTube videos, Tiktok Videos will really help you get more customers.

6)    Make sure you TAG your business in every post and video. Tag the website and hashtag key words. This will only improve your chances of getting customers.
